• Step 4 – We demonstrate finish options to give a preview of the finished floor. We can apply a natural lacquer or change the colour of the floor with a stain if you want to alter the floor’s appearance.
• Step 5 – We apply a base coat to fill up the wood and provide the first stage of protection.
• Step 6 – Light sanding removes any areas of the floor that stick up from the base coat of the sealer. Now the floor is ready for the final finish.
• Step 7 – We apply either a 1 or 2 pack lacquer depending on the condition of the wood. We can apply oils if a colour change has taken place or if a premium level of smoothness is required. 
• Step 8 – When the topcoat is dry, the floor is prepared for sign-off. Customers can usually walk on the floor gently with socks and slippers after a few hours. This can be arranged out-of-hours so as not to disrupt the running of the business.
