● Step 2 – We completely strip the floor to restore the bare boards. We use our large industrial belt and planetary sanding machines to make the boards smooth and even. This creates a wonderfully smooth finish.
● Step 3 – We strip the old sealers up to the skirting boards using our dustless edging machines. After that, we treat the floor with a 3 head finishing machine to remove any scratches caused during the sanding process.
● Step 4 – We can provide a demonstration of finishes and stains so you have an idea about what the floor can look like when the restoration is finished. We can apply a natural lacquer, which provides a durable finish or change the colour of the floor with a stain if you want to alter the look more dramatically.
● Step 5 – The next step is the application of a base coat. This fills up the wood and provides the first layer of protection.
